Kirkland Appliances

Costco Wholesale Products sell the Kirkland brand of products. Whirlpool manufactures Kirkland refrigerators and they are then marketed by Costco under the Kirkland brand name. While Costco still offers refrigerators, however, they use the Kirkland Signature Series brand and also carry a selection of refrigerators that are made by Whirlpool. Kirkland refrigerators offer a line of refrigerator models that has the freezer on top and that have doors that are side by side.

History

An international chain of retail warehouses is operated by the Costco Wholesale Corporation. Costco offers its members merchandise at a reduced price. Costco offers numerous products for sale including appliances and furniture. Costco began operation in 1973.

Whirlpool has been making home appliances since 1911.In 1999 they began manufacturing refrigerators under the brand name of Kirkland.
